"Days Of Our Lives" actress Arianne Zucker teams up with authors of "Young, Restless & Broke"

China Dolls’ authors Michelle Yu & Blossom Kan are launching their second book ‘Young, Restless & Broke’ published by St. Martin’s Press in May 2010. The sassy women’s fiction novel will hit bookstores in honor of Asian Heritage Month. The bonus? The duo of cousins have linked up with NBC’s ‘Days of Our Lives’ Daytime diva Arianne Zucker and her unique jewelry line “Lowd Suga” to create a book and necklace set that will be a must-read and accessory favorite.

‘Young, Restless & Broke’ captures all the highs and lows of a young woman on her own in Los Angeles and gives a witty look at the hard knocks of life in the entertainment industry. Sarah Cho always knew that she'd have to rough it as an aspiring actress, but she refused to give up just because her family doesn’t support her or it might be difficult. Flipping burgers and bartending to pay the bills, she is going nowhere fast in New York City… until she meets Daniel Wong.  Daniel is a Hollywood soap opera producer, not to mention gorgeous. Instantly smitten, Sarah jumps at the chance to move to L.A. to pursue her ambitions - and a relationship with Daniel.   But will Tinseltown turn out to be all she’s dreamed of?

‘Lowd Suga’ is an online jewelry boutique founded by Daytime and Soap Opera Digest Award winner Arianne Zucker, who plays ‘Days’ favorite villain Nicole Walker. Her designs are inspired by the casual chic L.A. lifestyle and have gained notice among many Hollywood sets. Many of her pieces have been worn by Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Alison Sweeney (The Biggest Loser) Tricia O'Kelley (The New Adventures of Old Christine) and many more. Funky yet feminine, her designs can take you from day to evening and everywhere in between.

Michelle Yu is an on-air sports anchor/reporter in New York City and a member of the Asian American Journalists Association. Blossom Kan is an attorney employed at a law firm in Manhattan. She graduated from Yale University where she majored in English.  Their first book “China Dolls” received high praises including from ‘The Nanny Diaries’ authors Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus.
