March Journal

So, it looks like my monthly journals are turning into every other monthly journals.  Not really sure how that happened, so I am going to role with it.  It is mid March and almost St. Patrick’s Day. What?! Amazing how time flies.

Just to let you know, I love being back at work and it seems that the old Nicole is back.  If you didn’t like her to begin with, well I am doing my job.  No but really, I am just happy to be at Days and able to share bits and pieces of fun with you.  I hope you enjoy me kicking some butt in jail.   If you didn’t get to see that episode, I think you can watch it on the NBC site www.nbc.com or  www.dool.com.  Don’t quote me on that though.

We are working so fast now on days.  We are shooting 8 episodes a week. Let’s just say that if we were shooting a film we would shoot about four pages a day whereas we shoot 100 and something a day.  Incredible right?  Can you imagine being a writer for these soaps?  I don’t know how they do it day in and day out.  All I have to do is say it.

I am trying to think of anything silly that happened on set?  With the days moving so fast it is hard.  Let’s see, well I was working with Kristian the other day and she accidentally bumped into the archway of the door when she was leaving and I had one more line to say to myself.  I was all I could do not to break down in tears laughing hysterically.  She was O.K. of course, but it looked like it hurt.  We had to do a pick up because I couldn’t hold in my laughter.  Thanks Kristian for the good chuckles.

In the Lowd Suga department, there will be some new items coming soon that will be one of a kind so look forward to those.  We have some Easter sales and a new baby line called “Izzy Reese”. After my daughter of course.  We will be doing some small baby gift bags in the summer for baby showers or just because.  Hope you get a chance to stop by www.lowdsuga.com.
